We were so excited to return to Lexington with our awesome partner iHeartMedia on March 8, 2020! White, Greer and Maggard presented an amazing day for more than 600 Lexington girls and their families. Their photo booth showcased tons of great smiles! The My Life My Quit initiative not only provided important info on ending the trend of vaping, but they also made sure all girls got in FREE. The University of Kentucky Federal Credit Union tested the girls’ money smarts on stage with great prizes, as well as putting $50 into any new savings account that was opened. In addition, UKFCU returned this year to help us honor the Lexington Girls of Merit. Hunt Brothers Pizza made sure we had fun entertainment and demos happening all day long, and MedQuest College took the girls on a journey to explore exciting medical careers.

The distracted/impaired driving simulator gave girls a real-life experience in an actual car, and Martial Arts USA showed them how strong they are through board breaking exercises. The rest of the day was filled with singing, dancing, jump-roping, fencing, henna and face painting. Highlights of the marketplace included yummy bundt cakes, chocolate and no-bake cookie dough, as well as nails, glitter lips, binary bracelets and even a place for girls to master their tennis serve!
